This charming apartment is located in a very clean, safe, and secure building on the upper east side of Manhattan. These accommodations are perfect for budget travelers looking for an unconventional vacation rental in the heart of the Big Apple. This rental includes a full size bed, sleeper sofa, utensils, furniture, cookware, and others. Vacation rental amenities include a phone, air conditioning, cable TV, VCR, CD player, full kitchen, refrigerator, appliances and linens. Smoking is not allowed in this rental. NOTE: This is an apartment that does NOT have an elevator. The apartment is located on the 5th floor. Once the reservation has been confirmed, guests must call Marika at 917-620-3510 or Keith at 347-219-4904 at least 48 hours prior to arrival to arrange for a meeting with the host to receive keys and other necessary items. A one-time cleaning fee must be paid in cash upon check-in. Fees are $35 for 1-2 guests, $45 for 3 guests, and $50 for 4 guests. Check-in begins after 2:00 PM ET.

The Upper East Side apartments are conveniently located in central Manhattan close to Central Park, museum row, and tons of great sightseeing hot spots. Once Manhattan's Millionaire's Row, the stretch of Fifth Avenue between 72nd and 104th Street has been renamed Museum Mile because of its astonishing number of world-class cultural institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. This stretch is lined with the former mansions of the Upper East Side's more illustrious industrialists and philanthropists. For shoppers, the NYC shopping icon of Bloomingdale's is nearby, and window shopping on Madison Avenue is a must. Also within walking distance is the famous Park Avenue, a street meant for strolling and known for its lovely architecture, Gracie Mansion, the usual mayoral abode, is a historic house on 88th Street and East End Avenue. Nearby Central Park boasts a zoo, a castle, a reservoir, and an ice-skating rink. There is a boathouse where you can rent rowboats, a gorgeous "secret" conservatory garden, and trails for walking, jogging, bicycling, and horseback riding. Plays, concerts, and dazzling displays of fireworks on the Great Lawn take place in the summer. 1500 1st Avenue, New York, NY - From the La Guardia Airport: Start out going northeast on La Guardia Rd. Make a slight left toward Terminal A/Marine Air Terminal. Make a slight left onto Central Terminal Drive. Take the Airport Exit ramp. Merge onto Grand Central Parkway West towards Manhattan. Grand Central Parkway becomes I-278 East. Take the exit toward Manhattan/Randalls-Wardsis/Downing Stadium. Turn slight right onto Triborough Bridge and merge onto FDR Drive South. Take Exit 13 toward East 71st Street. Stay straight to go onto FDR Drive. Turn slightly right onto E 71st Street. Turn right onto 1st Avenue.
